School Clubs

Breakfast Club

We have a daily Breakfast Club in our Sunshine Café before school. Our college students access the club, mainly our independent travellers.  The rest of the school benefit from Magic Breakfast and collect their cereals and bagels to give to the students in classes, on arrival to school or at break time.

Siblings Club

Super Smashing Lego Monkeys

We are a group of brothers and sisters of pupils with Special Educational Needs who meet at Shorefields School once a month. We chat and  have a go at lots of fun activities. We sometimes go out for trips and events in the holidays!!

If would like to join us then contact the school.

Check the website events/diary for our next meeting.

Afterschool Clubs

Shorefields run four different clubs per week, which are designed to give extra-curricular access to every student.

The following timetable is in place:

Mondays-Seagulls  Club:

This is designed for the lower school (ages under 12). this involves art activities, soft play and various games.

Mondays- Construction Club:

Investigating a range of construction material e.g. Lego.

Tuesdays- Sensory Club:

No age constraints and is designed for PMLD students.

Thursdays- Games Club:

This club is designed for 12+. It includes various family games and also some sporting activities.

All clubs run from 3pm – 4.15pm and a small fee is charged, this entitles students to participate in the club for 5 - 8 weeks. For oversubscribed clubs, there will be a rotation of students at the end of each full term to allow every student who has applied to at least attend one full term of club.

Holiday Club

Shorefields normally runs its very successful and heavily subscribed holiday clubs during one week in Easter holidays and over two weeks in the Summer holidays. The clubs offer the opportunity for students to enjoy a range of activities during the holidays. An appropriate activity timetable is created each day to involve the range of students and meet their social and recreational needs. Popular activities include: bouncy castles, art, messy play, sensory play, music and games. The clubs are well staffed each day with appropriately trained staff working with students. There is a charge per day for the holiday clubs and students do need to bring in their own packed lunch. The clubs are fully accessible to all the students
