Assessment Data KS2

Our approach to end of key stage two assessment is the same for all pupils, regardless of level of need. All pupils in KS2 have either a Severe Learning Disability or Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities.

Our assessments are based on pupils individualised targets as set out within their Educational Health Care Plan, (EHCP). All learners EHCP outcomes are designed against the four SEND areas of need, as stated below these include;

Communication & Interaction
Cognition & Learning
Social, Emotional, Mental Health (including Self-Help)
Physical & Sensory

Assessments are graded against their annual outcome with the following criteria;

Blue- Exceeded Step
Green- Achieved Step
Yellow- Some Progress
Red- No Progress
