The school was inspected in December 2012 and judged to be outstanding across all areas.

“Pupils make outstanding progress in all key stages”

“ Teachers are skilled at getting the very best out of pupils….teaching assistants make a very strong contribution to learning….pupils behaviour is exemplary.…pupils personal, social and emotional development are exceptional”

It is an all age special school in Clacton on Sea Essex for 120 pupils aged 3-19 with a range of complex, severe and profound learning needs, including a high percentage

on the autistic spectrum.

We provide personalised learning programs and therapies to support children and young people with statements of special educational needs.

“Pupils say they love their school and that their teachers are ‘brilliant’ and their behaviour reflects this. They are polite, respectful to each other and to adults and want to do their best.” – Ofsted report 2013

“Parents and carers say, rightly, that their children are supported extremely well by experienced teachers who know how to explain things and interest them” – Ofsted report 2013
